Week 12: Social networking would be very useful within our rural community as those living out of town and not able to attend meetings eg Red Cross, CWA, Book Clubs would be able to keep them in touch by using these networks. Although we are in a high Tech society not all have access to internet or a PC, some mightn't be keen to use this sort of networking.

Well here we go again unfortunately we can not hear our podcasts as we don't have any headphones. Went to ABC got "All aboard the great train' then to Tim Fischer biography and then to a stand still as couldn't hear it.I think podcasts would be great as a learning module, staff meetings could be recorded to allow access by remote staff.

How much time do we have as I am coming into work earlier to do this coarse. Have had a tour around the sites and found that the subjects are written in easy to understand form.But do I have time or the brain to take in all this information that is out there for all of us to veiw in "slamming the boards"

Been into Wiki sites and had a good look round made an entry on the nsw learning site which I hope will be there tomorrow. This coarse is showing me what is out there to explore at a later date.

found my way around google reader . Was able to subscribe to topics of interest.Had problems being able to link back to my blog. but fully understand the process of subscribing and having the info I am wanting on hand quickly
